Take action

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed individuals can change the world. In fact, it's the only thing that ever has."
—Attributed to Margaret Mead

Write to MKP

One simple thing you can do is send an email to MKP leaders to let them know you're concerned about what the organization is doing and the harm it causes to Indigenous peoples. We make it quick and easy to do just that. We have a simple message you can customize, and we'll help you get it to people who can effect change.

Organize a Protest

MKP has events with sweat lodges in many places across North America and elsewhere. If you show up at one and talk to attendees and staff, it can have a powerful impact. We'll give you the details.

MKP can't function without money, and one major source is recurring contributions from members like you. If enough members pause their contributions, its leaders will be forced to take notice and reckon with the impact of their behavior. It only takes a minute.

Stop Giving Money to MKP

Share Information About MKP

Do you have emails or documents about internal MKP discussions around cultural appropriation? Did you hear MKP employees or volunteers talk about Indigenous peoples? Share it with us so that Indigenous elders can respond to false claims and misrepresentations about their traditions and spirituality.
